€188 million under Horizon Europe for clean mobility projects 

The EU has launched new Horizon Europe calls for transport and mobility, unlocking €188 million to fund projects that drive the climate transition, clean mobility, and safe, smart transport. 

Covering 16 topics — from greener shipping and logistics to battery innovation and road safety — these calls open the door for cross-sectoral solutions, including hydrogen and alternative fuels, to scale in Europe’s transport system.

Worth seeing: BMW showed what their new hydrogen car will look like 

Great news from Munich! BMW has confirmed the long-awaited news that it is starting mass production of a hydrogen car. This is the X5 model, and it will be available in gasoline, diesel, plug-in hybrid, electric (battery) and hydrogen (fuel cell) versions. The company has already released photos of the camouflaged car, which is already being tested on German roads. 


Kubota unveils world’s first autonomous hydrogen tractor

At Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kubota debuted a 100-horsepower hydrogen fuel cell tractor with AI-powered autonomous driving and remote control. Capable of operating half a day per refuel, the machine addresses sustainability and labor shortages in agriculture, showing hydrogen’s potential to transform the sector.
