The Scientific and Innovation Council on Innovative Materials and Green Technologies under Bulgaria’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, together with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, is organizing an international conference “Science and practice in innovative materials and green technologies for sustainable development”. It is aimed at strengthening the link between science and business in key areas of the green transition.
The main topics of the conference include:
- Hydrogen-based technologies
- Technologies for sustainable biomass valorization
- Modern low-carbon technologies, renewable energy sources, and CO₂ capture, storage and utilization
- Innovative polymer, composite, and metal materials and alloys
The panel “Hydrogen based technologies” will open the conference on 5 November at 10:00 a.m., featuring leading scientists from Bulgaria and abroad, including experts from the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems – BAS (a member of BGH2A).
The program will also feature presentations by international speakers and a scientific discussion with representatives from the industry. The event will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals working toward sustainable development and innovation.
