Technologies, markets, and partnerships in focus at the “Hydrogen for and in Bulgaria” webinar

The Bulgarian Hydrogen, Fuel Cell and Energy Storage Association (BGH2A) hosted the webinar “Hydrogen for and in Bulgaria”, organized at the initiative of the Association’s Scientific Council and moderated by Prof. Daria Vladikova. The event brought together over 25 participants from business, industry, government ministries, and other organizations, including Hydrogen Europe.

The webinar featured presentations from Umoe Advanced Composites AS (Norway) and See Hydrogen (Bulgaria). Umoe is a leading manufacturer of composite solutions for the safe storage and transport of hydrogen, natural gas, helium, and other gases. The company showcased existing technical solutions already deployed by clients in several European countries.

The Bulgarian company See Hydrogen presented its vision for sustainable hydrogen mobility in Southeast Europe, with a focus on a hydrogen transport corridor targeting the heavy-duty segment.

The discussions centered around market opportunities in the region, technological solutions for hydrogen infrastructure, and collaboration between Bulgarian and international partners. The importance of education, regulatory frameworks, and scientific research was also highlighted as essential components for developing a strong hydrogen economy.

BGH2A remains committed to supporting the growth of the hydrogen ecosystem in Bulgaria and the wider region. Follow us on social media to stay updated on upcoming events, news, and hydrogen-related initiatives (FB and LinkedIn).
